Captain Luke McDaniel is the owner and operator of Faith and Fins Charters. He was born and raised in Southwest Florida and has 17+ years of experience on the water. Captain Luke has always been drawn to everything the outdoors has to offer. He has spent the majority of his life living out his passion either in the woods or on the water. After obtaining his boater's license at 14 years old, Captain Luke began taking his dad's skiff out, honing in on his fishing skills, and learning how to navigate backwaters on his own. In 2020, Captain Luke graduated high school and started his college career, studying Environmental Science and Policy at Florida State University. Shortly after beginning college, Captain Luke decided to earn his U.S. Coast Guard Captain's license through the Captains School of Naples. While at Florida State, he fished bass tournaments on the Florida State Bass Fishing Team for 3 years while getting his bachelor's degree. Once Captain Luke graduated in 2024, he moved back to Southwest Florida to start his career as a saltwater charter captain. Captain Luke plans on one day owning an outfitter, in which he will offer both hunting and fishing trips across Florida and a few other states.
